Virel is incredibly fast. The Virel Protocol produces a block every 15 seconds.

MiniDAG can prune away most unnecessary block info, reducing chain size and increasing throughput.
Multi-chain security.
The Virel protocol enables a multichain ecosystem of merge-mined protocols. Higher security at a lower cost.
Secure.
The Virel merge-mining protocol is based on RandomVirel, an ASIC-resistant mining algorithm. CPUs are the most efficient hardware for mining Virel.
Fair.
Virel is launched with no premine. Development is funded with a 10% fee on block rewards, reduced to 5% when the protocol reaches a better stability.
Unique.
Virel has been written from the ground up in Go, making it one of the most unique projects.
